This is the trailer for the upcoming 2009 Computer Animated Astro Boy Film. The movie is based on a Japanese franchise of the same name that was created by Osamu Tezuka. The New Astro Boy Film will be released in Japan first on October 10, 2009. The Movie will be released in the United States on October 23, 2009. The film will be released in 3D.

The rights to the Astro Boy movie where originally purchased by SONY Entertainment in 1999. Sony had plans to make a live action film using puppets and CGI. It was not until 2006 that Imagi Animation Studios announced the CGI Animated film was in production. David Bowers was chosen to direct the movie and Summit Entertainment will be the distributor.

Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day is the sequel to the 1999 cult classic Boondock Saints. After a 10 year wait the fans are finally getting their sequel. Troy Duffy returns to direct this film, along with Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus who return to their roles.

The MacManus brothers have been in hiding deep in Ireland, far away from their former lives in the city. When word comes that a priest has been killed by forces of the Boston underworld, the boys return to mount a crusade against the forces of evil, bringing justice to those who must suffer the consequences.

As far as the Premise of this new movie goes, Disney released this statement- “Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.”

Surrogates is a new Sci-Fi film based on the comic book series of the same name. In the future no one leaves the safety of their homes. People use Surrogates to venture out in to the real world. Using Surrogates causes the crime rate to dramatically drop. After years with no murders a young college student is found brutally killed. Bruce Willis plays a detective who must investigate the killing and find the killer.

The film will be directed by Jonathan Mostow. Surrogates is scheduled to be released September 25, 2009.

Surrogates is based on a 5 part comic book series written by Robert Venditti and drawn by Brett Weldele. The comic was published by Top Shelf Productions in 2005. A new prequel comic was released in 2009. While the original comic was set in 2054, the prequel takes place 15 years earlier and explores the beginnings of Surrogate use.

The Book of Eli is an upcoming film by the Hughes Brothers. Filming began in February 2009 and the film is set to be released January 15, 2010.

Plot-
It is the end of the world and Eli(Denzel Washington) guards the Book of Eli. The book contains knowledge that may save humanity. Eli must protect the book at all cost.
